Northern Trust Corp. Names Executive

Northern Trust Corp., Chicago, the parent of Northern Trust Co., has hired Penelope J. Biggs as vice president/sales manager. Ms. Biggs is responsible for new custody sales and marketing in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Africa. She will manage a four-person team.

Ms. Biggs was with Barclays Global Securities Services, London, where she handled U.K. pension sales and relationship management experience in the custody business.
