Hudson City Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Hudson City Savings, Hudson, N.Y., hired Timothy E. Blow as chief financial officer.

The job was left vacant last June when Carl A. Florio was promoted to president and chief executive officer.

Mr. Blow was a senior manager with KPMG Peat Marwick, where he serviced Hudson City's account.

The bank also hired Paul Sherman as a commercial loan officer. Mr. Sherman, a former bank examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., was senior vice president at Evergreen Bank in Albany, where he oversaw the lending activities for New York's Capital region. Hudson City Savings also promoted:

JoAnn Gamello, treasurer, to vice president of finance.

Nancy T. Leonard, manager of deposit services, to director of deposit service.

Ellen G. Miller, branch administrator, to director of retail banking.

Jane Scott, special projects administrator, to assistant director of loan servicing.
