First Union Exec Hired Away jy AFS&LSC, Bank Software Firm

AFS&LSC, Exton, Pa., has hired First Union executive Perc Moser as executive vice president of banking services.

AFS&LSC, which consists of the merged companies Automated Financial Systems and Littlewood, Shain, & Co., markets lending and cash management software for the banking industry.

Mr. Moser will be responsible for decision support and outsourcing businesses in financial services.

He became the commercial banking executive at First Union's northern region last year after North Carolina-based First Union acquired New Jersey-based First Fidelity Bancorp. Mr. Moser had been an executive vice president at First Fidelity, responsible for cash management, trade finance, correspondent banking, and investment banking businesses. He had also been a board member of First Fidelity International Bank and was on the executive committee of IBOS, the Interbank Online System, a European bank association.
