New England Bank Promotes Anson Hall to Executive VP

New England Bank, Windsor, Conn., has promoted senior vice president Anson C. Hall to executive vice president.

Mr. Hall is treasurer and chief financial officer of the bank and its $428 million-asset holding company, New England Community Bancorp. He is also vice president of the holding company.

The bank also promoted Mary R. Soucy to vice president of human resources, from assistant vice president, and named Pamela L. Matthews and Kimberly S. Freeman as assistant vice presidents.

Ms. Matthews will manage the Windsor branch; she held a similar post at Northeast Federal Savings Bank in Hartford.

Ms. Freeman works in the credit department; she came to New England Bank last year from BankBoston Corp.'s credit administration division.

New England Bank also promoted Deborah B. Varni, to purchasing officer from an assistant position in purchasing and facilities; and Christine M. Rockwal, to credit officer from assistant in the credit department.
