First Commercial Corp., Little Rock, has elected Wallace Fowler and former U.S. Sen. David Pryor to its board.

Mr. Fowler, who is the chairman of First Bank of Arkansas in Jonesboro, had previously been chairman and chief executive of Southwest Bancshares until First Commercial acquired it in May. He is also the owner and chairman of Fowler Foods Inc., which oversees a KFC and a Taco Bell franchise.

Mr. Pryor was a U.S. senator representing Arkansas from 1979 until last year. He joined the Senate as a member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, and later became the committee chairman on agricultural production and stabilization of prices. He was governor of Arkansas from 1974 to 1978.
