Tech Bytes: Travelers Express Tests Payment Terminals

electronic bill payment processor, has begun testing a service that brings on-line bill paying to consumers who do not have computers. The service, called FlashPay, lets consumers initiate bill payments at participating retail stores or check-cashing centers. Travelers Express, a unit of Viad Corp., electronically gathers payment data keyed into FlashPay terminals. It then collects the funds and transmits payments to billers.
