In Brief: Insurer Group Covers $10.4B of June Loans

The Mortgage Insurance Companies of America reported that its members insured $10.4 billion of newly made home loans in June, up 12.9% from May.

Also in June, 26,783 loans that were previously in default were cured. New defaults totaled 28,140. In May, 26,372 bad loans were cured, and 23,376 went into default.
