Bank of Hawaii Names Executive

Bank of Hawaii, Honolulu, named Victor A. Fresca senior vice president- manager of the systems engineering division and assistant manager of its information management services group.

He succeeded Patrick Ruckh who left the bank to relocate to the mainland United States.

Mr. Fresca had been vice president and group manager of systems engineering at First National Bank of Arizona, a subsidiary of Bancorp Hawaii in Phoenix.

Before joining Bank of Hawaii in 1994, Mr. Fresca had held consulting and management jobs in data processing at Bankers Trust, First Interstate Bancorp, and Security Pacific banking systems. He had also worked for the Berton Group and Electronic Data Systems Corp.

In a separate announcement, Kelly K. Walsh was hired as vice president and manager of the compliance group, succeeding Karen Lind, who left the bank to relocate to the mainland.

Ms. Walsh, who was also named CRA officer for the bank, had been a consumer compliance bank examiner and assistant vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
