Interchange State Bank In New Jersey Promotes Four

Interchange State Bank, Saddle Brook, N.J., has bundled management functions into four new divisions and promoted two men and two women to run them.

Chief credit officer Richard N. Latrenta, a senior vice president, was also named senior retail banking officer of the $500 million-asset bank, succeeding Frank R. Giancola.

The title brings responsibility for branch banking, insurance services, investment services, and consumer, mortgage, and small-business lending.

First vice president Patricia D. Arnold, who had assisted Mr. Latrenta, was promoted to senior vice president of commercial lending.

Mr. Giancola, a senior vice president, was put in charge of the newly created operations division. Its work includes facilities management, for which he was already responsible. It also includes deposit and loan operations, security, general services, purchasing, consumer compliance, and the Community Reinvestment Act department-for all of which vice president Joyce Colin had been responsible.

Ms. Colin was named chief information officer and will direct Interchange Bank's newly created technology and telecommunications division.
