Summit Upgrades Supermarket ATMs

Summit Bancorp said it has upgraded automated teller machines in 29 supermarket branches and four conventional branches in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The NCR Corp. machines incorporate advanced features such as the ability to cash checks to the penny and to accept checks without an envelope. The machines display images of the deposited checks on the screen and prompt the user to key in the dollar amounts.
