KeyBank Says Its President, Stephen Wall, To Retire in '98

KeyBank, Cleveland, said Stephen E. Wall, its president and chief operating officer, will retire in 1998 for personal reasons.

Mr. Wall, 55, oversaw the bank's transition from lead bank among 14 to being KeyCorp's single nationwide bank. The restructuring was completed in August.

Gary R. Allen, chairman and chief executive officer of KeyBank, said it will announce senior-level appointments to aid in the management transition when Mr. Wall retires.

Mr. Wall joined Central National Bank, a KeyCorp predecessor, in 1970. In 1994, when Society National Corp. and KeyCorp merged, he headed the integration team.
