Summit Bancorp Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Summit Bancorp, Princeton, N.J., has promoted senior vice presidents Dorinda Jenkins-Glover and Virginia Ibarra to executive vice president.

Ms. Jenkins-Glover has been Summit's director of marketing since last year; she is responsible for advertising, corporate communications, community relations, and market research. Before that she was senior vice president and director of retail sales.

Earlier she was senior vice president and director of sales and marketing at United Jersey Bank Central, a subsidiary of UJB Financial Corp., which bought Summit in 1995 and took its name.

Ms. Ibarra is corporate diversity officer and director of training and organizational development. She joined the old Summit in 1981 as director of training; in 1995 she became diversity officer as well.
