Card Briefs: $350K from AT&T For Card Education

AT&T Universal Card Services is giving $350,000 in new grants to organizations that provide credit education programs.

AT&T has given more than $1.5 million in such grants since 1990.

The beneficiaries this year include Call For Action, Bethesda, Md.; Consumer Action, San Francisco; the Consumer Federation of America, Washington; the International Credit Association, St. Louis; Junior Achievement of Northeast Florida; and the Metro Columbus (Ga.) Urban League.

Also, the National Institute for Consumer Education, Ypsilanti, Mich.; the Otis Smith Foundation, Jacksonville, Fla.; the Salt Lake Community Action Program, Salt Lake City; Tallahassee (Fla.) Community College; and the Wellness Council of North Florida, Jacksonville.
