Chase Adds ExecsTo Oil, Gas Group

Chase Manhattan Corp. an-nounced two appointments to its global oil and gas group this week.

Michael McMahon will be a senior banker responsible for strategic advisory and structured financings in both New York and Houston-based groups.

Most recently at Lehman Brothers, Mr. McMahon was previously at Salomon Brothers. Before that, he was manager of the oil and gas direct investment portfolio for Harvard University's endowment program.

Carol Bell will be based in London and will be responsible for Chase's relationships with large oil and gas firms in Europe. Previously, she was global head of energy equity research at J.P. Morgan & Co.

Chase now has more than 150 professionals in seven offices serving the oil and gas industries.
