Cybercash Has Module for MS Wallet

Cybercash Inc. has announced the availability of two previously announced payment system components meant to work with Microsoft Wallet and Microsoft Site Server, Enterprise Edition.

Cybercash said its CashRegister integrates with version 2.0 of the Microsoft merchant server system, enabling acceptance of credit card payments over the Internet.

Also, the Cybercash CashRegister version 2.1.2 adapter kit for the Microsoft Wallet allows merchants to accept credit card payments from the Microsoft Wallet even if they do not use Microsoft Site Server, Enterprise Edition.

Merchants may download these components free from the www.cybercash.com Web site.

"We created the wallet and Site Server, Enterprise Edition with an open payment architecture to give consumers convenience and freedom of choice in how they pay for goods and services on-line," said Anthony Bay, general manager of Microsoft's Internet services business unit. "Cybercash's achievements in deploying electronic payment systems complement Microsoft's vision for the industry."
