U.S. Bancorp Names Executive

U.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis, has promoted Donn L. Waage to senior vice president of public relations, a newly created job.

Mr. Waage, who was senior vice president of corporate relations for U.S. Bancorp's Colorado National Bank, has moved from Denver to Minneapolis.

Before joining Colorado National he was senior vice president of public affairs for First Interstate Bank of Denver, and before that was president and chief operating officer of the Colorado Association of Bank Holding Companies.

From 1975 to 1981 he worked for Norwest Corp. in Minneapolis, rising to vice president of government relations. He began his career in 1970, when he joined the public affairs division of the Association of Bank Holding Companies in Washington, D.C.

Community First Bankshares, Fargo, N.D., has named Keith Dickelman to become senior vice president and regional manager for eastern Colorado.

He will take the job Jan. 1, succeeding James Krumm, who will retire.

Mr. Dickelman, now president of Community First National Bank of Fergus Falls, Minn., will be based in Denver and oversee 20 branches.

He joined Community First in 1992, when it bought First Interstate Bank in Fargo, where he was a senior vice president and senior loan officer.
