Intralinks Inc. said last week that it has formed a partnership with Standard & Poor's and Securities Data Co. to make syndicated loan information products available via Intraloan, an on-line loan syndication service.
Bank loan investors will be able to gain access to Standard & Poor's bank loan ratings and research and Securities Data's loan market data base and league tables through New York-based Intralinks' Internet Web site (www.intralinx.com).
Since June $35 billion of financial transactions, including a $4 billion BankAmerica Corp.-led loan for Compaq Computer Corp., have been completed using Intraloan. The service lets agent banks and investors make secure, confidential transactions and communicate electronically.
Securities Data is a subsidiary of Thomson Financial Services, which also owns American Banker.
