In Brief: Deutsche Adds Two High-Yield Executives

Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Inc. added two executives to its high-yield research and trading efforts this week.

Noel Misthopoulos joined as a managing director and co-head of high- yield trading, and Paul Owens was hired as a director and senior high-yield analyst covering telecommunications.

Mr. Misthopoulos was a managing director in high-yield trading at Bear, Stearns & Co., where he worked for three years. Before that, Mr. Misthopoulos was at CS First Boston.

Mr. Owens comes from Smith Barney, where he was a director in high-yield research. Previously, he spent 14 years as a buy-side analyst on high-yield portfolios at Morgan Stanley & Co. and at Massachusetts Financial Service.

Both executives will report to Grant Kvalheim, managing director and head of global debt capital markets.

Deutsche Morgan Grenfell is the investment banking unit of Deutsche Bank.
