Ex-Ginnie Mae Exec New CEO at Knutson

A former president of the Government National Mortgage Association has joined Knutson Mortgage Corp. as chief executive.

Glenn Wilson started with the Bloomington, Minn., lender this week, replacing Ray W. Sims, who left in December to oversee the mortgage effort at Great Western Financial Corp., Chatsworth, Calif.

Mr. Wilson, who was most recently president of Firstier Mortgage Co., Omaha, oversaw Ginnie Mae operations in the mid-1980s.

Knutson, with a servicing portfolio of $10 billion, is principally owned by Chase Manhattan Corp., New York.
