National City Corp Names Executive

National City Corp., Cleveland, has promoted J. Michael Kearney, Janis E. Lyons, and J. Andrew Dunham to senior vice president.

Mr. Kearney is manager of corporate purchasing and properties. He came to National City with the purchase of BancOhio, now National City Bank of Columbus, which he joined in 1981 as manager of asset-based systems.

Ms. Lyons has been head of corporate accounting since September. Her responsibilities include internal reporting as well as cost accounting and regulatory reporting at National City's member banks. Ms. Lyons joined the bank in 1978 in investor relations.

Mr. Dunham is responsible for the holding company's investment and derivatives portfolio and its derivatives trading. He joined the Cleveland bank unit in 1987 as an assistant vice president and funding manager in the investment/funding division. The Cleveland unit promoted Mr. Dunham to vice president in 1988 and to senior vice president in 1994.

National City operates offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
