Card Briefs: Nat City to Put More ATMs in Gas Stations

National City Bank will install automated teller machines in 17 Amoco and Unocal gas stations in Ohio by June 30.

National City, a $3.1 billion-asset subsidiary of $50 billion-asset National City Corp., has a long-term relationship with Lyden Co., a gasoline distributor and owner of the 17 filling stations.

The bank has 24 ATM machines in several Ohio counties.

T.R. Hollern, area president for National City Bank, said the deal "reinforces National City's and Lyden's service commitment to our customers."
