PNC Bank Corp. Names Executive

PNC Bank Corp., Pittsburgh, has hired Chase Manhattan executives Thomas K. Grundman and Francine Miltenberger as senior vice presidents and promoted Robert J. Miller Jr. to that rank.

Mr. Grundman had been managing director in Chase Securities' global oil and gas division, heading high-level senior client relations in the gas transmission, exploration and production, and mid-stream segments. He was named PNC's senior vice president in energy, mining, and metals.

Ms. Miltenberger had been senior vice president of the operating committee of Chase Manhattan Bank's private banking group. PNC hired her as senior vice president and project manager for treasury management in corporate banking. She will oversee initiatives including strategic planning for global treasury management and business planning for Industry- Net, the business-to-business marketplace for which PNC provides multiple payment and financing options.

Mr. Miller was named senior vice president in credit policy; he is responsible for the workout departments in Pittsburgh and Erie, Pa., and in Louisville and Cincinnati.
