Oregon Trail Financial Names Executive

Oregon Trail Financial Corp., Baker City, Ore., the holding company for Pioneer Bank, promoted Zane Lockwood to senior vice president and promoted four officers who report to him.

Mr. Lockwood joined Pioneer Bank last October after 24 years as a commercial and agricultural lender at U.S. Bancorp, where his last job was vice president in the Eastern Oregon Business Banking Center.

Nadine J. Johnson, Thomas F. Bennett, William H. Winegar, and Jerry Kincaid were designated the senior management team. All will remain vice presidents at the $263.2 million-asset company.

Ms. Johnson, who was treasurer, was named chief financial officer and corporate secretary. She had been an accounting manager at BancAmerica Business Credit in San Diego before joining Pioneer Bank in 1996.

Mr. Bennett, who was the loan compliance and internal audit manager, was named senior credit manager. He has experience in residential and consumer lending during 22 years at the bank.

Mr. Winegar, formerly systems engineer at the bank, was named chief operations officer. He has 20 years with Pioneer.

Mr. Kincaid, who was a commercial lending officer, was promoted to team leader and senior commercial lending officer. He joined the bank in 1996 after 24 years at First Interstate Bank.
