United Heritage Bank Names Executive

United Heritage Bank, Edison, N.J., hired Kenneth T. Koehler as president and chief executive officer.

He succeeded Kevin Killian, who resigned from the $20 million-asset bank.

Mr. Koehler had been president of Golden City Commercial Bank, New York, and earlier was president of Dollar Dry Dock Bank in White Plains, N.Y. In February 1992, Dollar Dry Dock was acquired by Emigrant Savings Bank, New York.

In addition, United Heritage hired Carlos Clemente as chief operating officer, a post he had held at City National Bank in Newark.

Gil Hershman, who came from Safra National Bank in New York, was hired as vice president of commercial lending. Mr. Hershman succeeded Patrick Thaller, who has been hired as senior account executive at Columbia Savings Bank in Fair Lawn, N.J.
