Bay View Capital Corp Names Executive

Bay View Capital Corp., San Mateo, Calif., has promoted Carolyn Williams-Goldman to executive vice president of administration, a newly created position.

Ms. Williams-Goldman had been senior vice president and director of human resources, with responsibilities including corporate services, marketing, facilities, and policies and procedures. She will retain those responsibilities and add community development and security operations.

She came to Bay View as an associate counsel in 1994 from First Nationwide Bank, San Francisco, where she was a vice president and counsel.
