Tech Bytes: Lending Software Firm Hires Morgan Exec

Advanced Information Resources has named Raymond Manza, formerly of J.P. Morgan, to the new post of vice president, strategic management practice.

Advanced Information Resources offers a client/server system for commercial lending called ACBS. It handles front- and back-office functions, including deal capture, settlement, and accounting. Users include NationsBank, Chase Manhattan Bank, J.P. Morgan, PNC Bank, Credit Lyonnais, Credit Agricole, and National Bank of Canada.

Mr. Manza had served as vice president and global operations manager of global credit for J.P. Morgan. His responsibilities included operations and technology support for the bank's worldwide commercial lending portfolios, including core systems at J.P. Morgan's Delaware operations center and offices in New York and London. J.P. Morgan installed ACBS in 1994.
