In Brief: Clinton Seeks Law for Year-2000 Disclosures

President Clinton will ask Congress this week to protect businesses that make good-faith year-2000 disclosures.

Under the proposed law, he said, businesses would "not be held liable for the exchange of that information if it turns out to be inaccurate."
