Former BankBoston Exec On Boston Private Board

Boston Private Bank and Trust Co. named Susan P. Haney, a former asset management chief at BankBoston Corp., to its board.

Ms. Haney, elected last week, was group executive for domestic asset management at BankBoston until early 1997, when she resigned. During her seven years at BankBoston, she also headed global asset management and private banking.

Previously, Ms. Haney spent 19 years with Boston Co., now an investment management subsidiary of Mellon Bank Corp. At Boston Co. she once worked for Timothy L. Vaill, president of $400 million-asset Boston Private.

Boston Private manages about $2.5 billion.-Katharine Fraser
