Executive Changes: One Valley Keeps CEO at Helm of Newly Acquired Bank

The president and chief executive officer of a Virginia bank bought by One Valley Bancorp of Charleston, W.Va., will stay on the job.

W. Lowrie Tucker 3d held those posts at Bank of Rockbridge and its holding company, Summit Bankshares. Both are based in the Rockbridge County town of Raphine.

One Valley bought $202 million-asset Summit on Aug. 7 and renamed it One Valley Bank of Rockbridge, though signs with the new name are not scheduled to go up until December.

Mr. Tucker will be president and CEO of One Valley of Rockbridge and will be elected to the One Valley Bancorp board in October, the company said.
