The Federal Home Loan Bank Names Executive

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta has named Carol A. Jackson to temporarily succeed its president and CEO.

Paul D. Hill will step down at the end of January. Ms. Jackson, executive vice president and chief operating officer, will become acting president Feb. 1.

She will hold the job until a permanent successor to Mr. Hill is named, the bank said.

Ms. Jackson joined the Atlanta Fed in 1980. Mr. Hill did so in 1988, as executive vice president and chief operating officer, and was promoted to his current jobs in January 1997.
