M&I Data Services, a bank outsourcing unit of Marshall & Ilsley Corp., has developed an Internet-based product for its trust services software.
AdvisorWeb will be offered as private-label software to M&I Data Service's trust custodian customers. It is designed to help download trust account information to personal computers and professional portfolio management applications.
The software is meant to provide graphical displays of current and past portfolio positions and to help users research specific portfolio holdings, transactions, and securities on-line.
"AdvisorWeb allows investment managers easy access to holdings and transaction data, providing information in a secured, real-time environment via the World Wide Web," said Michael E. Touhey, senior vice president and general manager of the M&I division.
