In Brief: J.C. Bradford of Tenn. Drops 3 Analysts

Henry Coffey Jr., a former bank analyst has been let go by regional brokerage J.C. Bradford & Co., Nashville.

Mr. Coffey, who has covered specialty finance companies for the past two years, was asked to leave along with two other analysts who covered telecommunications and real estate investment trusts. All three sectors ran into trouble this year.

Reached at his home in Nashville, Mr. Coffey declined to comment on why he and the other two analysts left the company. "We have the highest regard for Henry, but we decided to allocate our resources" into other areas, said Andrew May, co-head of research at Bradford.
