Card Briefs: General Credit Forms To Buy Printing Plant

General Credit Forms Inc., a provider of payment receipt products for the credit card industry, has agreed to buy a manufacturing facility from Moore U.S.A. Inc., a print and digital communications firm.

The facility, in Albany, Ga., employs 110 people and manufactures business forms, including credit card transaction products. The sale is expected to close this quarter. In 1995 General Credit Forms made a similar move, acquiring Golden Business Forms Inc.

"The decision to purchase this facility is consistent with our strategy of generating greater efficiencies through internal growth and by acquired growth," said Glen Taylor, chief operating officer of General Credit Forms.
