National City Names Executive

National City Bank, Cleveland, the lead subsidiary of National City Corp., promoted three assistant vice presidents to vice president in its northeast region.

Janet L. Jacobs was named district sales manager of the Martins Ferry administration, overseeing seven branches. She had been assistant manager of the Steubenville branch.

Alan J. Alexander, an assistant vice president of loan review, was appointed to oversee all loan review functions in the region.

Steven J. Tarajack Jr. was named regional sales manager in the North administration, responsible for 14 branches.

In addition, three executives were promoted to assistant vice president.

In her new post in retail administration at the Wilbeth Road branch of the northeast region, Janice G. Clark is to maintain expense controls, as well as hire and train customer service representatives. She has been an officer in retail administration since 1989.

Based in Youngstown, Ohio, Pamela T. Holden is to supervise training in the services and support division of the northeast region. She was a sales and service quality trainer and marketing associate.

Robin W. Rice was advanced in retirement plan services at the Cleveland headquarters, where he had been trust officer.
