Card Briefs: Southern Food Chain To Accept NYCE Cards

NYCE Corp. cards are now accepted at Publix Super Markets.

NYCE said the arrangement helps further its goal of moving its brand name beyond the Northeast. Publix, a grocery chain, has 56 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina.

"Millions of consumers in the Northeast rely on NYCE for convenient payment options," said Susan Zawodniak, vice president and executive director of NYCE. "Now they can look for the familiar NYCE symbol when they travel to the South."
