Glacier Bancorp Names Executive

Glacier Bancorp of Kalispell, Mont., said Michael J. Blodnick will become president and chief executive June 30, succeeding John S. MacMillan.

Mr. MacMillan, 61, had announced his retirement plans earlier. He will remain chairman.

Mr. Blodnick, 45, is an executive vice president and chief operating officer of the $580 million-asset company and president of its Glacier Bank.

Stephen J. Van Helden, the bank's executive vice president, will succeed him as its president. He will remain treasurer of Glacier Bancorp.

James H. Strosahl, senior vice president and chief financial officer of the holding company, will become an executive vice president.
