MIDWEST

National Processing Inc., Louisville, Kent., has named Donald J. Kenney, an executive vice president at the newly acquired First of America Bank Corp., as its own executive vice president of corporate services.

He will be in charge of outsourcing, freight, payables, remittance, and imaging.

Cleveland-based National City Corp., which owns 88% of National Processing, bought First of America on March 31. Mr. Kenney was responsible for mortgage lending, indirect lending, and credit card automation and operations.

He had been an executive vice president of the Kalamazoo, Mich.-based company since 1994. He had joined it in 1986 as president and CEO of its automation and operations unit. In 1989 he became senior vice president of the parent company, and in 1992 he was named chairman and CEO of Champion Federal Savings and Loan Association, Bloomington, Ill., which First of America bought that year.
