PNC Bank Corp Names Executive

MIDDLE ATLANTIC

PNC Bank Corp., Pittsburgh, has promoted nine vice presidents to senior vice president.

Charles M. Rhodes Jr. is the department manager of corporate banking in the commercial banking division. He is in charge of credit approval and administrative and client servicing activities. He also manages several lending groups in the division.

William L. Campbell manages sales, marketing, planning, credit, and administrative functions for the division as well as its professional services group.

Wayne P. Hunley, also in corporate banking, has been manager of its middle-market banking group since 1995.

Eric C. Johnson is the corporate banking manager for large companies; he has been a vice president and senior relationship manager since 1995.

Suzanne C. Ross, who heads personal trust services for PNC's private bank division, will also become personal trust services manager. She is responsible for the administrative and investment officers as well as trust real estate, trust tax, trust court accounting, and financial and estate planning.

Richard R. Soeder, also in the private bank division, is a senior lender and relationship manager there.

Richard S. Larimer has been the head of retirement and investment services for the Pittsburgh market since 1990; he is responsible for sales, client services, and investment management. He joined the bank in 1976 from Pittsburgh National Mortgage Corp. and later became an officer in PNC's real estate lending group. In 1984, Mr. Larimer was promoted to vice president and loan production manger in Tampa.

Michael A. Bal is senior vice president for AAA Financial Services for PNC Bank FSB. He has been responsible for product and services delivery to American Automobile Association members through nonbranch channels.

Christopher N. Moravec has been a senior relationship manager since 1996 in the energy, metals, and mining group, which is based in Pittsburgh. He is in charge of a team that develops business with mining and utility clients.
