American International Names Executive

American International Bank, City of Industry, Calif., hired Kathleen L. Kellogg to be president and chief executive officer.

She succeeds Alan Thian, who remains an outside director; Mr. Thian is a private business consultant. Herbert Huang continues as chairman of $200 million-asset American International.

Most recently, Ms. Kellogg was president and CEO of Los Angeles-based Hancock Savings Bank, which Fidelity Federal Savings recently bought. Before that she had been president and CEO of Frontier Bank, which City National Corp., Beverly Hills, purchased last year.
