Key's Holliday Given Wider Responsibility For Retail Sales

KeyBank, the lead unit of Cleveland-based KeyCorp, appointed Ralph K. Holliday regional vice chairman, responsible for retail bank sales in nine districts.

Mr. Holliday will take charge of activities in Indianapolis; Cincinnati; Columbus, Ohio; Long Island and Rochester, N.Y.; Seattle/Bellevue; and the states of Oregon and Utah. He also remains president of KeyBank's southern Puget Sound district in Washington State.

He will remain based in Tacoma, Wash., and will report to Robert G. Jones, KeyBank's retail banking president.

Mr. Holliday had been an executive vice president and western region retail sales manager for KeyBank.

Before joining the bank in 1992, Mr. Holliday was president and CEO of Bank of America Alaska. He joined KeyBank of Washington as executive vice president and head of the Washington branch network. He was promoted to president and chief operating officer of the Washington bank in 1993.
