SunTrust Bank South Florida has promoted Fort Lauderdale trust officials Eric Heinton and Jodi Katler.
Mr. Heinton was named Fort Lauderdale manager of trust real estate and a first vice president; he had been a vice president and trust real estate officer. He has 10 years of banking experience.
Ms. Katler, a trust officer, rose to vice president from assistant vice president. She has 12 years of trust banking experience.
The Florida subsidiary of Atlanta-based SunTrust Banks Inc. also announced job moves in the Palm Beach Gardens branch.
Wade Jacobson, a vice president, was promoted to commercial banking team leader, from commercial lending officer.
And Steven T. Plaatsman was hired as a vice president and commercial loan officer. Mr. Plaatsman worked for Bank of America in Florida and has six years of banking experience. At SunTrust he will be involved in lending to companies with more than $3 million of annual revenue.
SunTrust Bank South Florida also promoted Janet Yarnell and Rosa M. Garcia to assistant vice presidencies.
Ms. Yarnell is a trust officer in Fort Lauderdale with responsibilities in residential and commercial real estate as well as oil and mineral trust properties. She has 10 years of banking experience.
Ms. Garcia manages the Belvedere branch in West Palm Beach. She has eight years of banking experience.
