In Brief: Global Cash Access Adds 3 Casino Clients

Global Cash Access, which supplies cash machines and related services to the gaming industry, announced three casino signings: Bellagio Resort and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Miss.

Global Cash Access was formed last year by Bank of America Corp., First Data Corp., and USA Processing Inc. It provides electronic funds transfer and other services to more than 1,200 gaming properties.

The three additions were among the first to install the joint venture's QuikCash stand-alone terminal with a touchscreen.

Global Cash Access said it has signed contracts with 11 other clients in California, Nevada, Washington, New Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Expanding its client services, Global Cash Access announced QuikAnswer Link, an area of its Internet site devoted to customer service and product information.

The venture's general manager, Joan Lomelo, said it is the first in a series of innovations "designed to help clients get the maximum benefit from our technologically superior cash access services."
