GetSmart.com, an on-line service for consumer and business borrowing, has formed a strategic relationship with FiNet.com Inc. to provide GetSmart loan shoppers with Web-based mortgage approvals.
This alliance pairs the biggest producer of Internet loan inquiries with the premier on-line mortgage originator, according to an announcement.
GetSmart.com visitors who want to apply on-line for a home loan would be linked to FiNet.com's www.iQualify.com Web site. There they would receive an automated underwriting analysis and could receive approval in just minutes, the company said. Once on-line, someone who prefers to speak to a loan counselor directly can connect via www.interloan.com.
"We chose to align with FiNet.com because they are a proven technology leader and have shown a unique grasp of what consumers are looking for in the mortgage space," said James Rowe, GetSmart.com's chief executive.
