Citizens Business Bank Names Executive

Citizens Business Bank in Ontario, Calif., has hired three vice presidents and promoted an employee to that rank.

The promotion went to Robert DeMallie, who was also made a banking officer in the Ontario airport branch.

Mr. DeMallie was a sales manager specializing in the financing of machine tools. Earlier he was a vice president and manager at Community Bank in Ontario.

The new hires are Melinda Berning, Diann Granlund, and Verona Chion.

Ms. Berning was named as the credit analysis department's credit officer. She came from Spectrum Bank in Montebello, Calif., where she was the senior loan officer. Earlier she was corporate credit officer at First Trust Bank in Ontario.

Ms. Granlund was hired as one of the two regional service managers in the bank's sales and service division. She will oversee the branch managers in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernadino counties. She came from Bank of America, where she managed the Moreno Valley branch. Earlier she worked for Security Pacific National Bank.

Ms. Chion was named a real estate loan officer. She came from Fuji Bank in Los Angeles, where she was the assistant vice president of the real estate finance group. Before that she was a special assets management officer at Sumitomo Bank of California.

Citizens Business Bank is a subsidiary of CVB Financial, which has $1.6 billion of assets.
