Smart Bits: Security Vendor Chrysal is Wins Key Contract

Chrysalis-ITS, a leading vendor of authentication tokens and other data security hardware, said it has been selected to supply a secure key management system for the ICL SmartCity program.

SmartCity, which operates electronic purse and multi-application smart cards at more than 70 sites worldwide, will rely on Luna CA hardware for critical cryptographic operations.

Chrysalis was selected for a similar key management role in the Entrust.net offering of Entrust Technologies Inc., a Texas-based public key infrastructure vendor.
