In Brief: Analyst Leaves Keefe Bruyette for Schroder

Bank analyst Harold Schroeder has jumped from Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Inc. to Schroder & Co.

Mr. Schroeder started work Monday as a vice president and senior analyst of regional banks. His last day at Keefe Bruyette was Friday.

In his new role, Mr. Schroeder will oversee several other analysts, said N. Richard Greenfield, Schroder's director of marketing for institutional services. "We are excited to have him. He will help us continue to build the research capability of our financial group."

Schroder & Co. is a London-based investment bank and money management firm. Mr. Schroeder is no relation to the Schroder family that founded the firm.

Mr. Schroeder will report to Barry Tarasoff, vice chairman of the firm and global director of research. Mr. Schroeder had been with Keefe Bruyette for almost four years. He covered Southeastern banks and added brokerages to his coverage late last year.
