Short Takes: J.P. Morgan Hires Head For Stable-Value Team

The investment arm of J.P. Morgan & Co. of New York has hired a manager for stable-value portfolios. Victoria M. Paradis, 32, is responsible for managing portfolios and leading new-client and product development for the stable-value team at J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc.

Ms. Paradis joined Morgan last Monday from Pacific Investment Management Co., where she had similar responsibilities. She succeeded Kathleen Rooney, who left the banking company.

J.P. Morgan manages $321 billion of assets.
