In Brief: Va. Broker to Auction $225M of Freddie Macs

Prestwick Mortgage Group, a servicing broker, is auctioning a portfolio of mortgage servicing rights on $225 million of Freddie Mac loans.

All the loans are fixed-rate. The portfolio has an average interest rate of 7.088% (with no note rate higher than 8%), and an average balance of $129,005. It pays an average servicing fee of 26.5 basis points.

All loans were originated through an undisclosed seller's retail channel. Bids are due by 5 p.m. Eastern time next Wednesday.

The loans are all on homes in Middle Atlantic states, with most in Virginia. The portfolio has a delinquency rate of 0.52%, with no foreclosures.
