Bancomer Picks Relationship Scoring Model

Bancomer, one of Mexico's largest banks, has announced that it will install customer relationship management scoring models from San Rafael, Calif.-based Fair, Isaac and Co.

The bank already uses Fair Isaac models in various credit divisions and its adaptive control system for credit card management.

Raquel Voordum, vice president of modeling technology at Bancomer, said the bank will use Fair Issac's customer relationship management model to learn about its customers and develop better-targeted marketing strategies. Bancomer said it will initially use what it learns to cross-sell credit cards to deposit customers.
