Short Takes: Morgan Hires Manager for Equity Team

J.P. Morgan & Co. has added a portfolio manager to its London-based U.S. equity team.

John Stainsby, 38, who joined the firm on Monday from Lloyd George Management Ltd., will also have responsibility for funds that invest in global equities.

It is a newly created position, a spokeswoman said.
